The EON Transfer Kit remains the encrypted user-held browser-to-browser recovery path. Optional automatic Google Drive continuity is separate, opt-in, and limited to eligible signed-in work.
Google Login uses identity-only scopes. It does not grant Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts or YouTube access. Manual Drive snapshots and automatic Drive continuity each require their own separate least-privilege Drive consent.

Language controls stay out of the main chat header. With the verified Local Voice Pack, Auto acoustically identifies the spoken launch language before Local Whisper transcription; manual selection always overrides Auto. Without that pack, EONAPP uses the fastest browser/device recognition path available and treats its locale as a hint rather than claiming acoustic language detection. Microphone input still needs a separate chat tap and browser permission.

Auto never waits for this download. It uses Quality Voice when already ready, then the verified smaller Local Voice neural TTS for English, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese or French when installed, then an exact-language device/native voice. If none exists, the answer stays text-only rather than speaking the wrong language. Chinese and Bengali remain native/text fallback until separately reviewed neural adapters are integrated.

16 launch languages are staged for certification. A language is not advertised until recognition, AI reply language, text rendering and spoken answer all pass.
The Local Voice Pack is optional and never downloads silently. EONAPP verifies the exact pack size and pinned model digests before installation. Once installed, it provides Local Whisper recognition across all 16 launch languages plus smaller local neural TTS for English, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Without it, supported browser/device speech paths still work immediately; spoken replies use an exact-language device/native voice or remain text-only. Offline claims require a separate network-off verification. OpenAI Realtime stays optional Advanced/BYOK and is never required for ordinary Voice.
